Just a reminder that OFL's Double Team Championship starts scoring this weekend and you'll need to submit entries before the deadline if you haven't done so already (you won't be automatically entered). Please note that you can only enter this competition if you own more than one team - you can purchase additional teams if you want to take part. There are also plenty of other prizes to be won throughout the season.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's how the competition works:

1. You need to log in and pair up any teams you own before the deadline at 12:45 BST on Saturday, 18th September 2010. You can enter as many pairings as you wish, but each team you own can only be entered into one pairing.

2. Each game week after the start of the competition, the points scored by the highest-scoring team in any of your pairings will be added to that pairing's cumulative score.

3. At the end of the season, the manager of the top-scoring pairing wins £2,000 in cash! Runner-up and third place receive £200 and £20 respectively.

Well it looks like i've interpreted the rules all wrong for this. I thought it was the added total of your two teams plus the total of the highest scoring of the two.

"the highest team score in your pai is added to your cumalative total"

seemed reasonable to me.

but thats 30 quid down the swanny.

What do you mean by "30 quid down the swanny"? It's only one of a couple of sub-competitions of OFL. Or was this double team thingie the main reason to enter for you?
For me it's a nice addition to an already great game. Even if you aren't battling for the top spots you can still do well in your premier league or the half season championship or the silver/ gold competition.
Anyway, good luck with your teams and maybe you do win something somewhere :)
