I popped over to this forum today because I'm again trying to do some too-late planning

and thought I'd see if anyone on these boards were interested in staying at a Disney resort.
I own a Disney time share and it is quite common, and perfectly legal, to make reservations in someone else's name and have that person "rent" your reservation (points).
I'm actually trying to get somewhere in Florida's panhandle the last week of March for a family holiday, and would prefer to trade my Disney points for a week's reservation there, but know this is a long shot (the panhandle is within a day's drive for me and offers decent ocean diving). Had I planned earlier, I could have booked this through Disney, but am now just looking to rent my points to offset what is likely to be a cash holiday.
I can book Hilton Head 11 months in advance and all other resorts 7 months in advance (including Hawaii, but without looking into it, think this may be a bit harder for a while due to demand), and since I'm not in this for the money, would be willing to give you slightly better rates than I think you'll find anywhere else (just remember me when I come to London for my first EPL match!).
There are other sites where I can rent points, but quite frankly, I'd rather rent to someone I'm a little more familiar with (or more precisely, who's a little more familar with me), because in order for this to work, you have to be willing to send a "stranger" a fair amount of money. But I believe my time on this board will give me a least a small degree of bona fides.
I have owned and stayed at Disney resorts since 1999, and consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Disney. I love to talk about it and would be willing to answer just about any question you may have.
Some quick background:
I had never been to Disney in 1999 when we asked a travel agent to book us somewhere "kid friendly" outside of Florida (we had been to a non-Disney resort in Florida in 1998 with our very young children).
We were booked in Disney's resort at Hilton Head Island, and I was so impressed with the accomodations that I ended up buying their timeshare (but not while I was there, and before I had ever gone to one of their ammusement parks). I've since been to Disney several times and have also now been to Disney Paris and Disneyland in LA.
I've also been to Harry Potter at Universal (as well as having seen the exhibit in Times Square and Radcliff on Broadway - my kid's a complete nutter for all things Potter).
