Last chance to go to Disney before the kids get too old (8 and 10), so looking at Disneyland Paris for 3 nights / 4 days either in late Feb, Easter or late June.

Anyone got any top tips? Hotels? Is half board worth it? fly or eurostar? mistakes to avoid? Must do's?

Cheers

My tip is obviously DON'T DO IT but if you must....

I spoke to someone the other day who had just been and she'd got some deal via Disney themselves using Eurostar and they met them at the station and took them to the hotel, cases to the room etc. No idea on price but she seemed impressed!

One of the potential dates is on a weekend when I've got the chance to go and ride / race with a club in Brittany, so 'don't do it' sounds pretty attractive for that weekend. I'm in Brownie Point negative equity at the moment though

Will look into the transfers, cheers

Just as this was brought up and slightly off topic. If you eat at the Peter Pan restaurant in one of the corners there is a lamp post. On the rock wall behind it if you look carefully you will see my initials SC. I carved them into it when I was working on the construction of it.

At the front of the restaurant there is also a pice of rock that we shaped into a chair.

Not sure how fussy you are about accommodation but had a conference in EuroDisney last year - thousands of kids running around, screaming, whilst we talked about the intricacies of the payments industry

Anyway, the hotels owned by EuroDisney are in need of a major refurb. We stayed in the Newport Beach and it wasn't great (then again, I was on business and not with 2 kids). The best hotel on the complex is the New York - would recommend it plus it's a 5 minute walk to the entrance of EuroDisney from there. If you do take the train, the station is literally a stones throw from the hotels, although there is a courtesy bus for those Americans who refuse to walk.

Had heard that the Disney hotels were a bit tired so looking into non-disney owned ones as well. I think they all
have shuttle buses as well, plus some of them are only a 15 minute walk. Probably spend longer than that waiting for the shuttle

Make reservations for dinner inside the "Pirates" ride. The food is nothing special, but it is truely a unique experience.

And if you've been to Orlando's Disney, look for the differences (who's castle is that?).
