True but I couldn't fit Bale into my team and had already taken a 4 point hit. Putting in Bale would have meant taking out Silva and, at this point, putting Friedel as captain over Ade was the smart choice. Look at all the people on here that had Ade as (C). The debate was whether to put Ade or Friedel as (C) as those were the Spurs players I put into my team.

he might well be on for some bonus though, his stats were fantastic (100% of arial duels and 4 out of 5 tackles won to go along with 4/6 shots on target). i know [other site] predictions don't give him any, but they've gone for BAE whose numbers were not great at all (all 4 of his crosses incomplete, only 50% of tackles won, low pass completion). don't wanna get your hopes up as we all know how weird the bonus system is sometimes, just saying it's a possibility.

Agree, seemed to me VDV had been creating most of the chances, also want to take him playing the full 90 for the first time in over 2 months as a big positive but aware of the fact that could have been influenced by the forced substitutions due to injuries during the game.
