Ok.. so unless you have a big name midfielder that you've had from the start... and you're keeping him for the season you maybe thinking what im thinking....."everybody is letting in goals left and right, and the whole thing is very unpredictalbe"

who then are the budget players with good rotation between each other...

I currently have:
Jones (keeps getting injured cant get in form ) would do  kompany but MC are not a CS-machine either.. so mabye CLICHY
knowing that he's a rotation risk but the idea is to have 5 any of which you'd be ok with playing

Simpson is it time to go? i think ill keep him for time being

shawcorss tired of him maybe  bosingwa as he plays and despite lack of scoring Che to keep clean sheets ... i guess

BAE  Caulker bc not so good fixtures coming

McAuley  brown...

my man U defense will be Lindegaard and then Mignolet..... getting rid of Vorm/ruddy

Im also thinking Kelly maybe a shout..

Who are your top 5/6 budget defenders... ???
Mine look to be: Simpson, Bosingwa, Caulker, Brown, Clichy That does sound like a motley crew but the idea is that it's really hard to predict who gets consistent CSs these days.....

I took the same approach with my wildcard and ended up with Simpson, Clichy, Senderos, BAE, Caulker. I might upgrade Clichy to Kompany at some point, but there just doesn't seem much point in spending big money on defenders this season.

Yeah clean sheets are like gold dust this year. Add to that this has been, for me at least, the hardest year to play this game. For the rest of the season I am just going with simple, forgettable defenders, willing to accept that clean sheets are hard to find, and will accept them as valuable additions to my scores.

That said, heading into the final 16 gameweeks with semi-blocks, and will take on the chin a combined 0 score. I know it sounds a little mad, but this game has to be taken with a pinch of salt, and playing the game methodically and logically has utterly failed me this year.

So I go into the next few gameweeks with 2 Fulham and 2 Swansea {including goalkeeper}, and focus on my attacking points. I won't be scared off by Swansea's home game with Chelsea or Fulham's visit to City, just playing them, taking what I can get, and will review in about five weeks.

yeah i agree., im even thinking if to upgrade Kelly to a "better " fulham defender... not sure if there is point to it.. kelly plays all games..(does he?) so unless i get Hangaland and try to get 1 of his goals.... then there is probalby no point to it...
