One of my thirteen teams has had a decent start, managing 237 points and 558th position but where do i go from here?

Opinions on possible transfers please.

Position Player Club Value
GK D de Gea MAN £5.0m
DEF R Huth STO £3.5m
DEF S Taylor NEW £1.5m
DEF B Hangeland FUL £4.0m
DEF G Cahill BOL £3.5m ----> Bosingwa 4.0
MID D Silva MCY £5.5m
MID A Young MAN £5.5m
MID S Downing LIV £4.0m -----> Mata 3.5
STR W Rooney MAN £8.0m
STR E Dzeko MCY £4.0m
STR A Carroll LIV £5.0m -----> Aguero 5.5
£49.5m £50m

This will increase my total of players in european competition from 7 to 10.

My other possible option is
Downing-->Mata
Hangelaand-->Bosingwa
Carroll-->Hernandez

Help and advice welcome.

Well done on the great start.

I think you've got the right transfers.
I'd be inclined to ditch Cahill rather than Breda.

It was a toss up between Suarez and Aguero, Aguero's involvement in European competition swayed it.
What are other peoples opinions on this?

I know Suarez has no Europe but he will outscore Aguero. Aguero will be rotated a hell of a lot especially now Tevez has bumlicked his way back in! Suarez should play every game, Dalglish even played him in the Carling cup.

I agree with the below comments....

I think the following changes will be great for your team...

DEF G Cahill BOL £3.5m ----> Bosingwa 4.0
MID S Downing LIV £4.0m -----> Mata 3.5
STR A Carroll LIV £5.0m -----> Suarez 5.5

Good luck

Well i'll probably live to regret it but the transfers are in and although Aguero was my first choice i was very nearly convinced to go with Suarez, but my hatred for all things Liverpool has earned Kun a place in my team.
Now i can just sit back and watch them all get injured before Saturday!

ok so aguero may be rotsted but will still olay a amjority of the games.

Well i didnt do too bad with my last transfers, made it upto 13th in premium at one point but ive just dropped out of top 100 (not sure what position, how can i see this?)
Need to do something different this transfer window so im going to overlook suarez again.
Thinking of doing,
Huth-Enrique
Young-Murphy
Dzeko-RVP

Opinions?

Still in with a shout, 913pts, position 317 premium.

Regret not transferring in P.Jones at tw3 but i also very nearly went with suarez over RVP so i cant complain.

My team as it stands

de gea
bosingwa
hangelaand
enrique
s.taylor
silva
mata
murphy
van persie
rooney
aguero
49.5

Definitely need to get rid of taylor and murphy (that gamble didnt pay off!) then either bosingwa or de gea.

Option 1
de gea-----krul
taylor-----p.jones
murphy-----yaya/bale/walcott/other 5.0

or

Option 2
bosingwa-----coloccini
taylor-----p.jones
murphy-----meireles/ramires/other 3.5

Is bosingwa going to keep his place or is ivanovic going to be pushed into RB when luiz comes back into contention?
Is lindegaard going to be given experience in the less important europa league?
Currently swaying towards option 1.

Opinions and suggestions please.

Well not gone with any of my first thoughts, neither have i gone with my thoughts that i definetely needed either jones or vermaelen. Ive taken a big risk but thats what happens when you slip from 46th to 600+ in less than 3 weeks.

de gea----------krul
s.taylor---------colo
murphy---------nani

leaves me looking like this

krul
coloccini
enrique
bosingwa
hangelaand
nani
silva
mata
RVP
rooney
aguero

well the transfers are looking good so far with newcastles clean sheet at bolton, glad i didnt go for p.jones + smalling (where was he today?) currently in 627 position with 1002 points, 127 behind leader. hopefully that gap will close with todays points and still further after newcastles 0-0 at liverpool this coming friday!
