(Whole Squad included, 2xGK & 5xDEF, - Captain's points NOT doubled)
Foul: Foul throw if any of the squad's 1st 11 gets either a Red Card, an Own Goal or a Penalty Miss
Distance (m) = 12 + (0.09 x FactoredPoints)

Everyone's first attempts at the shot put have been completed and once again the bloke with the red flag was a busy man (Vermin and Yobbo own goals this time we think). There were 16 no throws all told.

Leading the way in the first round was Velcro with a fine effort of 15.70m, a whole 30cm clear of Roga and another 10 clear of Albumies. Another 5 cleared the 15m line.

Has anyone actually managed a valid throw this week? I can't imagine there are too many players who don't have one of Lampard, Fabregas or Defoe.

Like many others (I imagine), I'm sweating on a decent third round throw, or at least being able to get the ****** shot put out of the circle without falling over again.

With all 3 penalty missers,Lamps,Fab & Defoe,I'm just glad I anticipated this happening,and put an extra effort into last week's throw !
(if I'd really known,this isn't the week I'd have taken a 12pt hit )

Not many Shaggy, not many at all.

In fact, one. The Pom managed to chuck his shot 14.06 to move himself up into 20th place in this event. Everyone else managed to notch up a missed pen or o.g. and therefore 17 athletes are praying for better conditions for the 3rd round of the event, because they are yet to get a score on the board.

Amongst those are pace setter Karrde and contenders kizkiz and Brightwater.

Phew! - I thought Rodders had snookered me, but have reread the rules.

I have just been sizing up my opposition. I will be launching a stunning throw next week. You see. You will see.

Another poor week for the Ivory Coast. Hope they can perform better in the apple bobbin.

The third round of the shot put has been completed bringing the third event of the FISO Decathlon to a close. Despite considerable pressure this time at least most athletes got a valid throw in, although tcf, barry and Discogod will be disappointed at failing to get a throw on the board.

The standard of good throws in the third round was excellent and RamR got the best out of the favourable conditions with a throw of 16.12 giving him victory. 10cm further back were Spencer4 and LeRed with Nedved Cannon just behind. Leader after two rounds Velcro fell back to 7th.

Karrde did enough in the third round to maintain his overall lead although it has been reduced to just 7 points. Nigel1305 is second and Brightwater is third.
