Oops, I seem to have missed the first two jumps. I didn't realise this game was interactive! Do I still get a go?

If so, I'll go for a modest 42.

Cheers. :)

It's only the High Jump and Pole Vault that need an Athlete's attention.

...so put GW27 in your diary for the start of the Pole Vault

Some excellent jumps in the second round of the High Jump. SunderlandFan and grob both scaling their heights of 2.15m. In fact, everyone who set a height this week acheived it but that has still left us with 8 athletes yet to put a score on the board.

Full details as ever are below.

What was the best score of GW22 in this comp? I guess that would help people decide on their final target for this round.

Any chance of an update (even top 5) before GW23 starts tomorrow?
Sorry I wasn't around at all yesterday to carry out an update. I'll ask that the organising committee tries to leave Game Weeks for this sort of event being a little more spaced out than just a day or two.

As SunderlandFan modestly predicted  she shares top place on the podium with grob for the High Jump. Their 2nd round efforts of 2.15m were enough to see off all comers. Actually there was only one successful jump in the round with mrdrj getting a 1.86m on the board. 7 athletes failed to make any successful jump at all.

Overall, SunderlandFan leads too being the only athlete over 4,000 points. A healthy 71 point lead over Nigel1305 and then another 50 back to a gaggle of runners lead by grob.

As always full details are below and details of the first round of the discus to follow shortly.

I scored 71 for jump 3 after predicting 70 so shouldn't I get points?

It looks like a last minute reschedule might be in order.

Mystery hasn't posted for a week (hope he's ok) so a thread for the Pole Vault targets hasn't been created and I think it's a bit late to start that event this w/e now. I've sent him a pm (still in my outbox) that gives some alternatives - swapping Pole Vault for Javelin or moving the 110m Hurdles forward to this week - I'll leave it to him to decide which one he wants to go for. If he doesn't surface by Sat I'll pick one of them and also post the results for the 3rd week of the Discus.

Watch this space....

:( The FisoOlympics being no less competitive than those scheduled for London in 2012,I was hoping everyone else would have penalty default points imposed.

Ah well, I suppose if the starter has forgotten his gun,or got held up in the traffic on route, they'll all get off lightly :P

Thanks for stepping in Romyn.

Hopefully all is well with Mystery...maybe he's helping deliver snow for the cold version of these games?

Haha - good suggestion. All is very much well thank you. I've spent the last week in a bit in Manchester and Tunisia and the week before that at work left very little time for FISO-ing. Back here on full power now though so just trying to catch up.
