Okay, as my FISO XI team is running slightly low on transfers I thought I'd run a thread for another team, which, although slightly off the pace actually has a decent amount of transfers remaining :

As of this morning the following team was sitting in 3,969th but I think, despite having Ba, not having Mata will mean it'll be outside of the top 4,000 following the next update.

My intention, even though I'd like to get rid of Warnock , is to leave the defence alone (unless one of them gets injured) and use as many transfers as possible towards generating additional games (& hopefully additional points ) between now & the end of the season.

I'd like to think that a top 1,000 finish is possible for this team (anything more than that would be a bonus) but let's just see what happens.

P.S I'm pretty sure that both happyhoppy & The Woolster will be all over this thread as soon as they get a sniff of me making a bad move ...

About 4000 with 20 transfers left, I think you should be aiming for top 500

With that many transfers I think you should be bold. I'd have gone for Silva to Mata yesterday as you could have got a good few extra games out of him, which would have given you the funds to upgrade warnock.

I would also consider going block defence, and with 2 Liverpool defenders you are half way there. If they get knocked out of the cup, you have enough transfers to switch again. 20 is a lot to use if you are only using them on attackers

To be honest I've been neglecting this team as there's fifteen others that are outscoring it, if I had been paying more attention Silva Mata could have very easily been on the cards ...

As I've missed out on the chance to bring Mata into this team's line-up it seems perfect sense to bring in Bale tonight, taking advantage of the 2 for 0 between Tottenham & Manchester City.

As to whether I bring Silva back in on Sunday I'm a little bit undecided (as Manchester City won't be involved in the following weekend's fixtures) but if I do decide to bring him back more likely than not it'll be at the expense of the currently injured VDV...

I wouldn't listen to me then, I've got zero teams outscoring it

I actually brought Mata into one or two teams yesterday but just overlooked doing that in this one .

Looking at the fixture list, the next fixture gaining opportunity (other than bringing him for someone not featuring in the Cup next weekend) appears to be Monday 19th March so yesterday was definitely an opportunity missed ...

VDV being confirmed as injured this weekend meant that I could finally get Mata into this team's line-up plus I also decided to take advantage of the three for one between Manchester City & Fulham by bringing Silva back in at the expense of Dempsey.

This team is still outside the top 4,000 (4,745th to be exact) & I doubt it will do enough either today or next weekend to significantly improve it's league position (not quite enough F.A Cup coverage me thinks)...

Decided to take advantage of the 2 for 0s available today (plus an unlikely 3 for 0) by bringing in Dempsey, Rooney & Adebayor for Silva, Van Persie & Aguero.

This team has slipped slightly to 5,158th in the overall league but hopefully these transfers will help give it a much needed push up the table by this time next week...

Replaced the suspended Sessegnon with Luiz midweek which has actually worked out quite well so far & has contributed to this team's (small) move up to 2,667th in the overall league table.

However, this team is incredibly light on players featuring today & tomorrow and although it's still got a healthy amount of transfers remaining it's difficult to justify bringing in Manchester City & Arsenal players as after Monday night they don't play again until Wednesday 21st March.

On the other hand I don't necessarily want this team to go backwards either so not entirely surely what it is I'm actually go to do ...
