But maybe most impressive was that black bloke who is apparently the only living person at this moment in time with the Victoria Cross - not a celebrity, but a brave chap.

btw, there are others but can't drum up the enthusiasm to write about them.....

Being a brave soldier, a daytime telly couple's daughter or a radio sidekick does not make you anything like a celebrity.

Murf, we are watching it on sky plus - the missus tells me that the Laura bird is a kids television presenter.

for the record I totally agree with you, being a brave soldier doesn't make one a celebrity, but it definitely makes a nice change to have someone who comes from outside of show biz. IMHO

Apologies if my post was a spoiler (Only a tiny apology as it has been on TV - I avoid all threads relating to stuff I have on Sky+ and am yet to watch!)

Think the concept is a bit crap to lose 4 people at the first hurdle. Should start with less than 16 - probably why the 'celeb' barrel scraping is so obvious, having to find 16 participants.
