My planning of not having to take any points hits after the recent Everton V Birmingham double gameweek has hit a few problems.

TEAM 1 has

S Coleman - No longer a guranteed starter
D Bentley - Doubt
N Vidic - Injured
M Arteta - Injured
D Fletcher - Injured

Of the remaining 9 outfield players, I have G Jara in defence who is next to useless and WBA are playing Arsenal tomorrow. Looks like a 50 pts hit will be required to get the team in some sort of shape.


TEAM 2 has

S Coleman / Vidic / Arteta / D Bentley - As above
Fabregas - Injured

Looks like another 50pts hit will be required.


Is this just me, or has everone else similar problems?

It's not the crocs on your team you need to worry about its the sharks in the mini league!

Average 25 point hit per team for me. Keeping a few brum players till their next dgw.

Wilbert - I kept Coleman in the starting 11 in the end.

Took a 25 pts hit on my top team and just made the one free subsitution in the second team.

Will se how things go.

Only injury problems I had were Arteta and Vidic. Took the approach that I'd bench Vidic, deal with Arteta, and sort the Berbatov problem. You can't afford a benched player in this game even if he scores when he's on.

Kept Coleman too

Incidentally, why can we still select Bale in defence? Makes no sense if they've reclassified him.

I don't think they have reclassified him have they? Doesn't everyone just score point based on where they actually played regardless of the position they're listed as?


I took a 25 point hit taking out Phil Neville who played in the end but, under my new policy, if there's any doubt they're gone. Replaced him with Adam so that worked out quite well I've got another four injured but managed to get 11 on the pitch.
