And this mornings totally pointless food and drink poll is all about the world of Takeaways.

What's your preference?

I voted Chinese because I think the takeaway Chinese is just as good as the restaurant meal you get.

Indian takeaways are rather poor in comparison with what you get when seated. Not sure why this is, perhaps it's down to being pre-prepared.

Went for pizza. A donner pizza is a drunken treat to behold.

By the way what exactly is a "Kebab (Badly packed)"? Is it a euphemism?

Indian for me followed closely by Chinese. I like to have take outs that I can't produce the taste of at home.

Voted other as that is Thai.
Next would be Indian, then kebab, then pizza(thin crust) and then Chinese.

Where are the chip shop takeaways?

BTW although it's in the Guardian don't click on the photograph if you're at work.

Rich, you've obviously got a lack of choice in the West country when it comes to takeaways.

You're missing Sushi, Mexican, Chicken shop (Nandos or KFC style), Thai and unbelievably a Fish and Chip store

There was a place in between Moorgate and Bank in London that used to sell (it might still do but I'm now in Amsterdam) a roast dinner in a bap. Roast beef, potatoes, veggies and gravy all in a bap. Very little work was done following one of those for lunch! That was a great takeaway!

Could be said that I didn't really think todays poll through that well. When I started it up I just thought of Indian and Chinese. KFC didn't even cross my mind!

Poor effort today, many many apologies.

Made me think about a takeout for tonight.
Even if they are more home delivery than take out these days!
