Any white stuff falling where you are? Is the Emirates at risk with early start and snow predicted from South East?
Norfolk too could be hit according to Mr Gundersen at the Met Office. Can we keep this open for last minute updates s'il vous plait
dans le cas ou il neige.

I work just 20 minutes walk from The Emirates, it is bitterly cold here with clear blue skies.
The forecast is no snow until Saturday pm/Sunday am, even then it should only be light flurries.

Same forecast for Essex but they said it could be 2 inches of snow.

Think it is coming in from the NW so games that way could be affected sooner but I think the sunday games are at most risk (without looking where they are).

Saturday....

NW: Man City, Wigan, and possibly Stoke - More likely to be affected by rain, after an earlier period of sleet/snow

London: Emirates and Loftus Road - Snow is expected to be lighter than more westerly and northern areas, and due to fall after games have finished.

The others: Norwich and West Brom - The two games most at risk, with travel for the Bolton fan causing most concern.

Sunday....

Chelsea and Newcastle - Should be okay, all the snow fun will be over by then.

off topic - its my daughters first birthday tomorrow - and meant to be driving over to essex from Kent to see the in-laws - one of those days where I don't want to get stuck on the QE2 bridge on the way back :?

on topic- if we lose games, when is the next free Tues/Weds?

7th/8th Feb (except for Sunderland  )

Seriously, looking at the Premier League fixture list there are no more midweek (tues/weds) games at all this season so they would only need to avoid European nights and FA Cup relay dates plus the cluster at easter.

It's all just typical southern-led panic - ignore!

Those of us north of Watford gap can cope with these things..... :P

@ Murf - wow, surprised by that. With a summer tourny - expected there to be a bit of congestion this spring.

@daross - you have a point there, not sure about foxinthebox - but the rest of us are all southerners

It kind of wrecks all of the pathetic arguments for having the FA Cup final in the middle of the Premier league season doesn't it - I think last week was only the second proper set of midweek games there have been.

And I'm NOT a southerner  , I'm an Easterner :D - born and bred north of Watford Gap - yes I know where the Gap is and its not in Watford. I do live in (northern!) Essex now which some might consider southern.

I was referring to the media, who seem to wet themselves at the prospect of a frost, nevermind a flake of snow...heaven forbid!

Lot's of snow here and 7 below zero. It hasn't been over -2c since Monday.
I don't expect it will affect the premiership as I'm in Amsterdam

Central and Eastern expected to get the brunt..difficult to tell from today's current forecast how much snow will fall and just where it will make a FF impact.

As per Wilbert, no snow here....yet. That said I don't remember a televised match at St James' being cancelled due to adverse weather, although I've been to several that clearly should have been.

Mind you my memory's shocking these days

It wont be long... http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ - shows the band of snow moving west to east.

I still think the West Brom game could be at risk.
