Pre-Qualifying for the Premiership Predictions CL Stylee Cup is now over
(see this thread) and we have our 20 names who are through to the group stages, our 'Barcelonas', 'Liverpools', 'Inter Milans' and so on if you like.

We now move on to the final desperate hunt for a place which we call Final Qualifying, the spotlight hence falls on the 'Debrecens', 'Shaktar Donetsks', 'Celtics' and 'Arsenals' amongst you.

Just 12 places up for grabs and 17 are signed up so far (from trying to pre-qualifying) and entry remains open to all of you out there.

Highest scorers over the next 4 sets (5th Jan to 1st Feb) get through - its that simple.

To participate in Final Qualifying all you need to do is enter as as explained below and then do your regular 'FISO Goals' Premiership Predictions for the league.

HOW TO SIGN UP

YOU MUST SIGN UP BY ENTERING THE MINILEAGUE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY!

You need to join the 'CL Stylee Cup' minileague
League ID = 16
Password: stylee

(click on, in order: 'FISO Games' in the banner across the top, 'FISO Goals' in the dropdown menu, 'My minileagues' on the left, then fill in the 'Join a Minileague' with the details above)

There is no deadline but you only start scoring from when I know you are in the league. Once you hav ejoined the minileague, announce yourself on here and I'll count that post time as your entry.

HOW IT WORKS

See previous thread for full details but here is the summary:

20 people are through from 'Pre-Qualifying' and the remaining 12 places will be fought over here during 'Final Qualification'

Final Qualification will be held over the matches held from Set 21 to Set 24 and will be done as a 4 Set minileague.

Set 21 - Tues 5th to Mon 11 Jan (11 games - some postponed)
Set 22 - Sat 16th to Sun 17th Jan (10 - 1 postponed)
Set 23 - Weds 20th to Sat 23rd Jan (3 rearranged)
Set 24 - Tue 26th to Weds 27th Jan (8)
Set 25 - Saturday 30th Jan - Monday 1st Feb (10)

Tie-Break Rule - if there is a tie for 12th place etc in final Qualifying then all teams level on this point score will be split based on the Set 24 scores then Set 23 etc until resolved. [/size]

KNOCKOUT - Sets 32-37, two legged games. Set 38 = final. Set 39 = possible replay

Newcomers (FISO veterans and newbies alike) more than welcome but as this is my own private comp, I'll be reserving the right to not admit or throw out anybody who doesn't treat FISO properly and doesn't post in good spirit. As a rule of thumb this will mean you are banned if you are on my foe list.

Well, I'm hoping some of you actually get some points in the next 40 games but in case:

Not sure how I managed it, but predicted 4-1 to Man City.

I was hoping for a few days to sort the Group Stage draw and details but some inconsiderate clubs have organised midweek games including Tuesday 2/2 and the Daves have kindly arranged for those to be the start of Set 26!

4 points from the 1st 2 games tonight. Silently happy with that.

Just need Fulham to score 1 goal now.

Nothing from the first two for me but there had better not be any more goals as I'm on target for 6 points from them!

(Not in Qualifying, just playing a friendly to stay match fit)

On for 5 much needed points as it stands I think. Another goal for Bolton would make it 7 but I guess that'd be greedy.

Make that 6 point and a good chance of making the next round.
