I'm running Chrome as my web browser, and have recently installed a couple of facebook improving extensions that remove the sponsored ads and the news 'ticker'

When I added them it said I was giving permission for the extension to access 'personal' data....

anyone know exactly what that means?

I'm no IT expert Tommy but it doesn't sound good, does it ?

If it means a programme wil be gleaning some of your personal info and passing to a third party I'd get rid.

Did some research last night - apparently if you trust the app developer then it should be all right!
