Every pool fan i know has the same issue as you.

Bias towards your own team

You have to be impartial to do well in this game.

Jones  Vermaelen

Bit gutted if Jones turns out ok ...but im not prepared to risk it this time of year ...and TV looks like he could get some points in back to back home games - easy enough to transfer him to baines or spurs defender for the double as well

Has to be a Chelsea defender, probably Terry, but maybe Ivanovic, there must be some clean sheets {and assists/goals} in those fixtures...

Baines, Brown or Hall to make way here...

Or maybe:

Larsson  Ramires

A fifth yellow card and twentieth hamstring injury later may have to reconsider that midfield transfer after all.

VdV  Walcott could work

Would be a terrible move imo

Jones will be fine according to reports, just some bruising, might have to wear a mask vs Wigan.

Ade has a double coming up and Norwich and Swansea away before that, why on earth would you take him out?

just thinking rooney may terrorize wigan (though al habsi will be a problem.. maybe) and blackburn...

where as ade has nor( ok can socre) swa.. difficult to score and then the double... one if which is everton who dont concede a whole lot....

and rooney's price will go way up if he does terrorize and the only way in at that time will be to rvp  rooney... which some have suggested...to cash in..

You will want him back in dgw20.
I did Baines  Evans and Ade  Rooney and will be taking a 4pt hit to bring Ade, Bale and Baines (or Osman) in for the dgw.

My feel is that Rooney may run riot against WIG(H) and BLA(H) compared to Ade who may score but probably not alot away from home to NOR and SWA, and SWA is really tight at home. So potentially, the 4pt hit is worth it imo and Rooney is definitely worth the captain's armband for these 2 gw.

I bought Ade at 8.1 but will not be holding him beyond gw 22 when tott fixtures turn really tough so the price difference is not a deciding factor for me. Hope that helps.

Have you not been won over by this fine display of detective work? While initially one would believe this to be a picture of Wayne Rooney, XXaannddeerr easily sees through the clever ruse and identifies the use of photoshop. Particularly impressive I thought was the rich understanding of Japanese culture displayed, allowing XXaannddeerr to quickly sense that Rooney's head was misplaced. XXaannddeerr deserves even more praise for being kind enough to delicately explain why it was a fake, for those of us like myself who fell victim to the picture's convincing chicanery.

Fortunately, this cunning counterfeit will deceive no more.

VDV  Bale.

Was going to ditch VDV even without his latest hamstring injury. He hasn't looked the same player lately, and a run of 2, 3, 1, 2, 7, 1 is poor for that money.

I'm sticking with Jones as I think he'll play against Wigan. And even if he doesn't I've got decent cover.

Oh, and I think XXaannddeerr had his tongue firmly in his cheek about that Rooney/Sumo pic!

Did a quick one, two for free.

VDV  Nani
Pilkington  Gomez

Should've had Nani earlier but chose Rooney. Well, well, could've been worse. The leader of my private league took 8 points to remove Bale, Adebayor and Brown. Rooney was the only one of his new team members who did anything :P

Looks like I'm gonna be dropping VDV for either Bale or Walcott.

Can't decide which?

I'm thinking now everything going forward is going to go through Bale and Ade, with good fixtures, probable price rises and a DGW. All my rivals have Bale also but they dint have Ade. I am 90 points behind the leader.

Walcott is due a haul, and Wolves at home is a perfect chance for that. I'm thinking take a chance on Walcott in the hope to make some points up.

Struggling to decide this week. Might not do any, might do (boringly) NTaylor  Caulker or, if Jones is expected for more than one or two games Jones  Evans.

2 free. Jones and R.Taylor to Caulker and Shotton, I think. Need to raise some cash to get Drenthe in for the DGW, and it'll leave a little change which coupled with a few more tweaks will let me squeeze Rooney or Aguero in for Yakubu.
VDV's crockedness presents an opportunity. Jones to Caulker, VDV to Surman, Yakubu to Rooney. 4 point hit, but you'd expect Rooney to make that up against Wigan. 0.1 short of doing VDV to Drenthe unless Yakubu goes up, so probably Johnson to Drenthe next week.
