I know we take the mickey out of Michael Campbell, but hats off to the guy he seems to have found a bit of form recently. Currently T10 after shooting a 67. :o

I'm well pleased I made a bit of a school boy error in OFL and did not pay enough attention to my fillers so have Mr Campbell in a side, could he be the bargain of the season he already has 2 points :)

I have just seen an interview with him and he says he is clear of injury for the first time in 2 or 3 years.

It may be related to these injuries, but I think the main problem was in his head. It was almost as though he had a "yip" no matter what club he had in his hand.

Anyway, we'll have to see - the jury's still out until he achieves a couple of consecutive top 20 finishes, but his recent form is certainly better than it was when he was propping up the field week after week.

Not wishing to turn this into a Michael Campbell thread but does anyone know if his tour card ever expires?

In 2008-2009 he played 42 Euro tour events and won just over 33k and I think most of that comes from prize money from missing the cut at the majors.

I was tempted to climb aboard the Bradley Dredge rollercoaster in my R2D team but I chickened out at the last moment. In the end I'm sure it'll be the right decision.

So, given the weather forcast below, it looks like the late starters at The Heritage will have their rounds disrupted a little.

A very good question AKNel1. I did a google for an answer and found this response from Fleetwood Mac, hope it helps!

Quote:
Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing

Not sure what the second line has to do with it!

Perhaps the second line should read

'you only love players when they're playing'

Obviously a fantasy sports player this Mr Mac

FS Record: Fantasy league golf -Open winner 07. Husband of Callaway wedge winner Todays golfer 08. T-shirt winner Pro Golf 08. WOW!
Has anyone else had a shocker -Noh Wall Fraser Edfors Chowrasia Siem Yang Horsey Harrington Aguilar ALL MISSED CUTS and with my main load in for the US FOWLER looking certain to miss I am on for a bad load of negative scores even with 6 playing. Only ray of light could have been Lara had I not left him benched in teams due to injury withdrawal last week!
Even substituted Hulhahl from the team called Jeppe de Huldahl Jeppe de Yeah! LOL
The Wales syndicate team is fairing a little better with

Atwal / cab bello / Haas / De jonge / Hearn / Dredge
8 teams and after European cut I have none with a chance of having 6 play the weekend. Shocker - got to improve.

As usual my best players are split between 2 teams

one has Jason Day & his -6 today, the other has Greg Chalmers & his -6 today (no doubt both will be usurped with a -7 later).

I also have 3 MC's (Fowler, Yang & McGowan) spread between the 2 teams possibly 2 in each depending on Marc Leishman's ongoing round.
