CHELSEAS INJURY CRISIS... A PROBLEM?

Ok, so there's a few injuries at Chelsea now and obviously you won't pick any of the injured players. However, does the amount of players and the quality of players injured make it a bit rash to be starting the season with anyone from Chelsea?

I've got Lampard and Carvalho at the moment but if Drogba isn't there to convert Lampard's passes and Terry isn't there to ensure Carvalho's clean sheets, should I be going with them?...

No.

Lampard is playing injured, and Carvalho is poor value.

But.... as hard as it may be, leave room to easily slot at least Carvalho back in there when Terry is fit. They are pretty much guaranteed to keep the most clean sheets through the season without all the mucking around that, for example, Liverpool defenders could give you.

It seems like Chelsea is built to handle two different line-ups throughout the European campaign. They keep clean sheets in the midst of that, so I'm still going to have some in my team. But I'm thinking long term, and hoping to save my WC for the holiday madness.

I would've unquestionably agreed with you in seasons past, and I may yet, but in the CS game yesterday, he didn't look in great shape.

i just cant bring my self not to have one in there i have got Carvalho at the mo but have the money in the bank to get terry back in when fit

Reading with interst! I am assuming those going with Lamps have Ronaldo too. If this is the case and you have one quality defender and a half decent striker aswell then I would love to see the rest of your teams.

Cant be much more quality in them. Balance is my key word!

Some clever person even put a 1-5 star rating against the squads. You are right though, overall I consider their squads weaker with both Ronaldo and Lamps in there.
