Rooney is injured for at least tonight, Man U's two games after that are against Chelsea and Liverpool so thinking he's not getting loads of points in them.

Looking at Bram's fixture grid Man U then play Norwich on the 26 Feb.

I believe the next round of FA Cup fixtures are the weekend of the 18th Feb.

So am I right in thinking that if I put a player in that is still in the FA Cup from any of these teams that I will get the following:

4 for 2 from Arsenal, Liverpool, Norwich, Stoke, Tottenham

5 for 2 Bolton and Chelsea

6 for 2 Sunderland

Is that right? And if it is right who the hell would you go for from Sunderland Bolton or Chelsea?

Would you necessarily want Rooney back?

Would the player you are buying necessarily be the one to make way for him on the 26th/whenever?

This is my team, so really if I do want Rooney back it will have to be whoever I bring in to go out or maybe RVP if he gets injured or possible Silva/Aguero.

Top of my superleague 1013 points 17 transfers left:

Vorm

Wilson
Walker
Warnock

Silva
Bale
Walcott
Mata

Rooney
RVP
Aguero

I'd stick with Rooney, it's a solid team with healthy transfers to take advantage of the tough March run-in.

If you buy a player of similar value to your midfield possee then you could sell any of them.

You've got enough transfers for the odd tinker so why not take the opportunity to stretch you superleague lead and stamp your authority on those poor souls chasing.

I'd dump Rooney for Sessegnon for the extra games at least. Leaves you tons of cash to do pretty much anything. I'd also consider shipping out Warnock, Villa out of Cup, leaking goals and his place seems to have been under threat recently. I'd probably put in Enrique or Cole, both guaranteed to play and I think they better for clean sheets than any Gooners and have easier Cup games. I guess Enrique leaves you more money to jump from any of your current midfielders to any strikers that suddenly appear to be on a hot streak.

If you are choosing a sunderland player then fo rme it would be F Campbell, always rated him as a player and looked good in the FA cup. Now he is back I expect him to take some of sess and Larssons goals (which suits me as I don't have either  )

Be one of the first to board the train. I would myself but have RVP , ady and Aguero so ok atm. If one of them got injured though then chew, chew :D

If Saha goes to Spurs (as rumoured) I'd be worried about Ade's game time.

Seriously, 17 transfers left and you want to carry Rooney for those two fixtures whilst all around him have 4 or more games?

Press the button!

Release the Tortoise!

Spank the Monkey!

Sorry, got a bit carried away there.

:D

I may well go for a Sunderland player tomorrow but Adebayor is way off form at the moment and I doubt he will even play away to Stevenage so a 3 for 2 over Rooney does not look that great.

Wise words. I'm hanging on to Rooney but bringing in some Sunderland players tomorrow.

I've bashed the bishop - never been a man of religion.

And brought Ade back in following a short absence.

I've bashed the bishop .

I've dumped roony last week
as hop tot says, now is the time

+1 family guy
some of the positions torres took up tonight were bizarre to say the least, out to the left of the box, hugging the line was a particular favourite :?
he has looked better since the ANC, taking people on 2 every 3 times he got the ball, and beating them
but tonight he was so far off the radar he shouldnt be on yours
