Does anyone know of a VERY cheap defender who might rise in price, or at least plays every week?

3.8/3.9 price....

Aaron Hughes from Fulham. Doesn't get much points, but he's played the last 7 games for fulham. Costs 3.9

Bywater from Derby is about to rise in price & is a 3.9M defender.

I have Duberry from Reading and, while he's an injury doubt for this weekend (bruised ribs), he plays 90 mins a game @ 3.9M.

If you don't need the guy to play in GW14 and 15, you might want to consider Andy O'Brien at 3.9. The new manager syndrome might kick in at Bolton, and they have a pretty decent run at that time. He's also got 4 boni, which is saying something considering their rotten form so far.

I'd have brought him in myself this week if not for Rooney.

I agree, statistically Fulham have a dodgy defense, for me Hughes has been very reliable but he needs his colleagues {ie Boganegra, Stefanovic, Baird - who are all better than their lacklustre, clumsy performances suggest} to pull their socks up and stop clowning around like idiots. Even at 3.9 Hughes is a good bet for back-up defender {didn't he captain the side?}...
