My Sister's organising a multi-terrain 10k run in January in the village of Blymhill, Staffordshire. If any of the runners here fancy a day out it's a lovely village and a great route - most is off road, through farmers fields, some country lanes and the White Sitch ancient woodland. Nice scenery, friendly marshals and fantastic home made cake at the end.
I'll be riding the route in advance to check the signs and tape is all still in place and then sweeping at the back of the race to release the Marshals and making sure we don't lose anyone. Was run last year as well and got great reviews in Runners World.

My Grandad built the original hall and my Dad has organised building its much bigger and better replacement, which is now open but needs some more cash to finish it off.
