The pairing of Manchester City and Liverpool in the other semi-final means if both finish in the top four, the Carling Cup runners-up will be in next year’s Europa League.

Cheers Brameric for knocking me out. I enjoyed that match. Good luck in the semis. Ps the last time I was at Selhurst was to see Peter Gabriel and The Undertones

Advantage me I think. Would have prefered a 2nd goal, but a clean sheet was good none-the-less. Shame away goals don't count in this as I fancy us to score in Wales.

Further research suggests they do, but only after extra time. That disallowed goal could yet prove crucial.

Congratulations to Tacalabala, our new champion :D

Only question now is: will you switch to Liverpool / Man City in your attempts to lift the Carling Cup for FISO???...

I'm delighted  Do I get to do one of those 'winner's story' things on how I painstakingly pondered for about 2 minutes on our to plump for?

And yes, I think I'm going to switch
