Anyone have a 'glasses guide' to hand that can furnish me with a valuation for -

Vauxhall Vectra 2.0l Diesal '03' plate. 160,000 miles on the clock...

unc's valuation says £500.

Don't have a Glasses guide but there should be one in the office. I'll have a look later if no-one else has one to hand.

FS Record: Pick Quick Winner 2010-11..........£420 total in winnings from mini cash leagues over the years
Have a look on www.webuyanycar.com and then double it!

I would say it's worth more than £500.

I'm having engine trouble and the guy from RAC said

'it looks quite serious but you wont know for sure until someone gets into the engine to have a look. Either way it'll cost you a few £ and if it needs a new engine....'

So I was wondering what my cut off should be when I get a quote before I send the poor baby off to car heaven?

fml :(

Parkers say with 70,000 its worth £1,500 - so has to be £750-£1,000? Assumed LS model...

Garage told me earlier today 'I've snapped my crankshaft.' Sounds painful :o

Estimate £1,800 +VAT. Yes, it is painful

At this point, I could tell you how I broke down in Newcastle and paid £540 to have my car towed home just so I can take it to the scrapyard, but you'd probably just laugh and question why I'm not a member of a breakdown service. And its not like I need to have that conversation again

So I wont.

Mrs Hotpot isn't a happy bunny right now

I think I'll have to win this weekends Sun dream team to cheer myself up. Oh and a bottle of wine will help too, maybe 2 bottles :D
