**** FISO Virgins League ****

There is usually a mini-league for FPL/FISO newbies that runs along side the main FISO League (Virgins are encouraged to join both if they want to - it's not an either/or)

From Ironfist's Virgin Heat thread last year the criteria (which I believe worked quite well) were:-

New to FPL - this is your 1st year playing
or
New to FISO and you while you've played FPL before you haven't ranked above 100,000th.

Any takers? - don't be shy :wink:

Dingle,there's a ready made 5AS team called the Virgins,complete with a brilliant avatar available from last year's Virgins.
Why not create an FPL league, Fiso 5AS Virgins (the format's important) with yourself as captain, and invite the other 3 newbies here to join the team, by sending them the joining code by PM, leaving you needing only 1 more newbie whom you could find on the Fiso 5AS Recruitment thread - e.g on page 9 thereof,Bulmarche(?) might be ideal.
There are others too.

Then announce your team details on the 5AS Captains declaration thread,as prescribed,using the Virgins avatar in 80 x 80 size ?

Today's the final day for doing so to enable Romyn to prepare fixture lists etc,but if you tell him you're going ahead with this immediately,I believe he may be able to cut you some slack,( and as he designed that great avatar it should help :wink:

)

Then after a year of great fun you could hand the Virgins shell to the next lot of newbies and create a new team altogether.

I don't know if you can do this,but I'll copy this by PM to RomynPG for info, PM him urgently if this is possible.

Bear in mind there are 2 Virgins things going around...

... this thread is for the main Virgins League which runs in parallel to FISO's main FPL league (see this thread) and is mainly there to allow people who are new to the game to compete against similar - although everyone is encouraged to join the main league as well.

The other Virgins thing that has been mentioned on this thread is a 5AS team. The 5AS is a side-game made up of teams of 5 that complete against each other each week. Once that team has 5 members then it's full but the Virgins League (this thread) is unlimited in number.

Basically as long as your new to FPL or haven't finished in the top 100k before use the code to enter the league in your Manage Leagues bit on the FPL site. You can also join the main FISO league who's code is in one of the stickies in this sub-forum.
