And either by the end of this year or early next year the house or a fair sized renovation job will be underway

Has anybody on here built there own, I will be be aiming for profit i.e. building in the location and style to aim for 40% plus margin rather than to get my ideal home (that will come later back to Huf Haus by the sea)

As I am going for a turnkey service the biggest single difficulty I will face is the plot

Both I and my Wife work from home, so it will help as finding a plot in a given location is always a nightmare

is it some sort of prefab thing? like a tongue and groove house or s'thing?

Turn Key means I find the land, agree the specs. and in theory (note I said theory) wait for the job to be finished to the agreed standard, timescales and costs

Around 8-15% more expensive than managing it yourself in theory in reality a good company will elimante many expensive errors a newbie would make
