WiFi went down this morning before I submitted so a slightly longer than average 2,600 seconds for me. Pity - not too bad for a movies round.

8 easy ones today, 1 semi guess (the instrument one) and 1 pure guess (the opera one). 10/10, but not as fast as jpk.

Not sure there were 8 easy ones as I needed a few guesses to get my 9.

6 days into February, 6 quizzes so far, 6 different winners and they have the top 6 spots in our league.

1. jpk 6 1 -- 95
2. Sted 6 1 -- 88
3. unc 6 1 -- 87
4. golden_bear 6 1 -- 84
5. Latic 6 1 -- 84
6. nathan247 6 1 -- 80
7. FancyDan 6 0 -- 68
8. X-Man 6 0 -- 67
9. murf 5 0 -- 59
10. kizkiz 6 0 -- 53

It is going to need some accurate and fast fingers to make that 7 though as jpk has 10 in just 36 seconds already.

Impressive but I think fancydan will stop you getting into the top 7.

I got the semi-guess one wrong - but it was certainly one of the easier days

It's the opposite of the truism the 'early bird catches the worm'. i.e. 'The later bird knows how easy the worm is and can therefore take more risks...' :)

Easy day yesterday. 10/10 but slightly slow - combination of wireless mouse and having to change one coz I clicked the wrong answer by mistake.

Harder today. 5/10 and a bit slow as well - about 70 seconds, but I was the first to play so no idea whether that's any good or not. Probably not good enough for top 10 but site is down for maintenance at the moment so don't know how it's going.

Up to 8 winners in 8 days now.

Not quite taking the top 8 places (just 7 of them) as fancy dan is an interloper with no wins and winner bluenosey is only 10th.

looks like 5 not as uncompetitive as I thought.

Reckon Golden Bear will win today with an 8.

I thought I was doing quite well when I racked up 5 points but that was when I'd only scrolled down to see my marks for the first 6 questions.

A string of 4 red Xs after that made me think less highly of my achievements overall.

Pretty tough literature round. Knew 4,6,7,9 and 10 straight off, ie without having to read the other answers (2 of my favourite books in there). fairly sure of number 1 and pure guesses for the rest, so probably a bit unlucky not to get any of the guesses right.
6/10

Blimey that was tough  Knew 2, got 4

Is there nothing worse than logging out the day before, being placed about 9th, then logging in the next day, only to find out that you've been bounced down to 11th :x  Seems to happen to me all too often.....

A pretty poor last few days for me. Last month my poor days saw me on the whole scrape into the all important top 10 - not so this month.

I see that the guest round is Bible Trivia this week. That should be a laugh

The C&W was the one I got wrong actually, guessed 6. Tbh I'm as suprised as anyone - I don't think I've ever won a Music round.

snap. knew 6 today and half sure on another, probably the best music round I've ever had, most of them are set before my time.
