Hi everyone. Have a look at my team above and two possible transfers for today. What do you think - good moves or tinkers? I have a worry that my defence would be lightweight with no Manchester cover or should I not worry about that and use the money to really bolster my front six?

Also, what about my strike force - should I be trying to get RVP in there anywhere (being one of those idiots who dropped him in the first place!)? If so, is it a straight swap for Rooney?

Have 24 transfers left and 0.4m in the bank.

Would welcome your thoughts before kick-off. Thanks in advance.

I end up encouraging everyone to burn transfers so I feel duty bound to say that your transfers are starting to go, especially if RVP may come in as well.

That said both have form and fixtures and I'd go for it!

I'd say go for it, but only if you're happy with the rest of your team and aren't planning burning more transfers for the foreseeable future. VdV is looking sharp and his fixtures look appealing while Nasri may obviously lose game time through rotation. As for Walker I’m not convinced by Spurs’ clean sheet potential but then that's certainly true for Chelsea too! and Walker looks as threatening going forward as Bosingwa at a price that's a steal. I'm actually bringing these two in today as well so this post is as much to convince myself that it’s a good move. I want to upgrade Yaya to VdV and so Bosingwa has to go for Walker to free up funds. I have 27 transfers left though; if I had less I may think twice before clicking submit.

Do you want RVP? How? Can you afford it?

Would have to be a straight swap for Rooney if I go ahead with the two spurs transfers today. What do you think?

Don't believe it. In-laws called round so didn't get transfers made.

Spurs 2-0 up now with VDV on score sheet. Depressed. Can't watch anymore.

Why do people always call round or things need done just prior to kickoff???

With the smartphone app there's no excuse Brutus. You could have been keying those transfers under the dining room table whilst smiling politely at your mother-in-law

I know but I couldn't check FISO to get the much needed go ahead that I was after. Tried to sneak a look at the site when I had to take them somewhere in the car but of course there was no phone reception!

If Bosingwa and Nasri don't perform today I'm going ahead with these transfers tomorrow.

Rooney to RVP is really tempting too but I think I'll hold fire on that one and watch the Arsenal match from behind the sofa!

I reckon Bosingwa is still good value, and chelsea should (can't say will this season) keep more clean sheets than spurs.

And RVP is in a purple patch, but wayner will have one, is only a matter of time, probably when RVP's ends - wouldn't go tinkering there (although I do have both! )
