They just ruined one of the best bits of "The Two Towers" by blathering/blithering adverts on top of the beautiful song over the end credits. Morons!

I originally thought this said 'bikini channel 4'.

Thought there was something good on!

Sorry to sound arsey, but - wouldn't a true LOTR fan be watching the 6 hour extended remix box set dressed in some grotty old blanket (elven cloak) and not the channel 4 offering?

It's quite nice to see the original "unextended" version again, which I had not seen since it was on at the cinema. The extended version is a two night job, to be honest but it's worth the effort.

The Two Towers (in either format) is easily the best of the three films. The first was good but floundered in places; the third was just too over the top and never ended!

Well said - the 3rd one had several endings stuck together - it was very annoying & the hours of footage of Frodo/Bilbo/Golam was tedious. It must nearly be time for The Hobbit?

I dragged my wife to the cinema to see this and about half way through she turned to me and said in a bored to death tone

" just how big is this eff mountain?"
