I am so lucky in the fact that I will not be subjected to this shite this year as the Mrs hates it.

How many others of you are in that enviable position? :?

Back on Channel 5, Si.

Which says it all really.

That Paddy from Big Fat Gypsy Weddings is on it.... will he be declaring his earnings for tax purposes?

Is it just me or has Tara Reid drank so much she slurs all her words even when sober, a la Ozzy?

Not just you. She also spoke in strange half sentences, never quite finishing one

Is Tara Reid the only one in there that anybody has actually heard of who didn't get their 'celebrity' from some other 'reality' programme. I guess Kerry Katona had celebrity a few years ago by being in a band (of sorts) but that was lost so she is just known from 'reality' programmes these days

PS Being the wife of an MP does not qualify as celebrity.

Day 3 and everyone wakes up to find a caravan in the back garden with 70 pikeys living in the house.
The lead flashing has also mysteriously gone missing from the roof

Not a clue who Tara Reid is; Kerry Katonia was is a band (Atomic Kitten?); the Speaker's wife I thought was an MP, but wants to be "whacky"; the one with the red hair is actually very successful in his own world of paparazzi pics, but I haven't a clue what his name is; and as for Hasselhoff's ex wife............

The Hoff's ex wife was originally in Baywatch, apparently.....

The 'soap star' played the boring boyfriend of one of the lesbians on Corrie for about a fortnight...

Can't believe just how much barrel scraping there has been when there are only 10 contestants (one of them being twins, 2 people needed to make 1 celebrity.

Channel 5 promised real stars and leaked the names of Sarah Ferguson, Charlie Sheen, Mike Tyson, Pamela Anderson and others.

We got-
A model nobody has heard of (and a bloke at that  )
A photographer nobody has heard of
An actor who once had a bit part on a soap
The wife of an MP
The ex-wife of an actor
A couple of reality TV nobodies
A bimbo and a couple of clowns who will do anything to hawk their 'careers'.... except make a good record
A US actress who I have actually heard of but only remember being in one film, years ago.

The first and third of those would have made it worth watching. The Pete Burns one was classic, tbh.

Maybe if you tell them Pamela Anderson is in there.

How much did they pay her?

They have been true to the "product" so far with a few welcome changes - e.g. subtitles for hard to understand accents and name captions for who's talking until you know who they are.

As long as they dont really badly try to make it "crazy" and give the characters chance to develop themselves I will be happy. The worst BBs are the ones where they try to force it or manipulate it to bring certain people through.

I agree Karrde, good mix so far - the usual overload of wannabes and all seem to have massive ego's, bring it on,let's see the capitulation......

Yes murf - I only knew half of the celebs this year...

My early tip to win. That massive Geordie one. Be interesting to see what the bookies say.

Not seen much of that wrestler Faye until she's cried loads tonight, thought she would be full of life but she seems all over the place. No nominations this week either.

The most enjoyable series of big brother for a long time IMO. Tasks have been funny, well edited and had plenty of twists and turns. A proper series focusing on the people and their behaviour. Well done channel 5.

Aaron to win IMO as he's played the game brilliantly, especially last night when he showed Jay for what he is - a steroid filled thug with a violent temper bubbling under the surface.
