Every time I think I have my transfers sorted another injury comes up. I was thinking of replacing Suarez with Rooney or Bale, but Bale's injured and I now cant afford Rooney (due to Jones injury), meaning I have 6.5m for either a midfielder or a striker.

My current thoughts are either Nani or Y Toure. Nani seems to be coming into form, and City have extra games due to the Carling cup. But no doubt one of them will get struck by lighning and force another change of plans.

Any one have any thoughts on either of these players? or on any others that might fit well?

How about nasri, with toure off to acn, has the potential to score well. Walcott from arsenal, another alternative, especially, since they have an easy run of games.
