After a mixed week-end and my (and lots of others) mid-week Pompey master plan going pear shaped I thought that I would mention one bright spark in the world of TFF at the moment.

Our hospital super league, THE BENZODIAPINELEAGUE has moved up to 17th place.

That's just two off our finishing position last year. Here's hoping that we can get to at least 14th.

I've been dreaming of a DLA keague to finish in such a high position. Just remember you're a part of the problem

What can I say.

I'll be trying to give the Star Trek Away Team a bit of a push this week-end.



May the best team prevail. I think our super league is a bit Pompey reliant now so as I say we could slip a bit today. (and tomorrow if Pompey concede.)

Not looking forward to where we are tomorrow with most of us locked into a reliance on Pompey defenders and many teams having Hreidarsson. At least a few of us have Owen and Young.

Well after a collection of naff scores we have gone back up to 8th. Don't know what that's all about.

Just noticed that the team in 5th place has Alves and Ballack so if the others don't fall there could be the chance of moving up a slot.

We've slipped to 6th place. I think we have a bit to much RVP and not enough RSC.

Back up to 5th probably thanks to Michael Ballack. Looking good for a top 10 finish.

Bad day for the BENZODIAZEPINES today. The teams are very Pompey and Chelsea reliant and didn't have many scorers today even though several teams had Alves in................but took him out last week-end.

It was as we feared, down to 7th now but still hopeful of a top 10 place.

The clean sheet should have kept us in the top ten although no one has Kanu and I'm sure he may have gone into quite a few teams at the end.

well good performance Spiny. My work league came in around 70th....nothing to do with me though

It's a shame that it's not my chairmans team that's top. Not that I think that it would have been in with a chance of anything but who knows how it could have gone.

So in the end we were 5th. Really chuffed with that.

This year the league consistes of just nurses. Glyn (Mr G Morris) was unable to concentrate on his teams and dropped out early and Natalie ( Miss N Knibbs) joined 4 weeks late. It's an open league with no prizes except for bragging rights on the ward.
