Cheers :)

I know My Bloody's Valentine's album nearly bankrupted McGee & Co in the early 90s so will be worth a look

Cracking documentray Blah.

I can't believe how many quality bands Creation have had - The Scream, The Fannies, Ride, House of Love, Oasis and possibly my fave, the Super Furries. At some of the footage I felt like I was in the 'pit - that early to mid 90's footage. Bostin :D

One thing is for certain, the aging process is awful. Alan Mccgee has morphed into Boy George, Bob Mould into Steve Jobs, Guy Chadwick looked a wreck and super cute Mark Gardiner of ride, looked, well, poutless. Bobby Gillespie looks a lot better than he should and the guy from MBV looked the same !

A few inacurracies. Oasis never conquered the States. That was bullsh1t. Only Bush - totally unbritpop -made it over there in that period (probably EMF and Jesus Jones had more impact in the States :? )

Even Clint Boon made an appearance but I prefer to remember him wit his Birds'esque mop top :D

I think I saw The Loft in Plymouth in late 1984 :?

It seemed to be something of a favourable programme

I'm hoping they play the ANC Anthem - a Club I used to go in Liverpool played it just before the lights went up, and was awesomely eerie.

"Bring me my machine gun"

The leader of the Youth ANC was still singing that 2 years ago.

It could be an SA documentary, with an English voice-over?

I remember people super-gluing Barclays' Cash-points in the 80's - one was kacking himself as he nearly got caught, so why did he do it? Probably as he thought it might get him laid?

I guess the hand-over is worse in Zimbabwe..........

It's an acquired taste but Jonathan Meades on France - a 1 hour "documentary" - sugared the licence fee pill slightly last week.
