Dirty frigging ba******ard!!!!

Should be in prison the dirty git.

Surely he will get a ban for that.

This could screw up a few Dream Teams

Yes, worse than Karl Henry's back heel.

One to avoid at TW4 depending on length of ban.

I like how Lee Dixon on MOTD2 was like "I don't think it was a stamp look at the way his right leg was.....I cannot be sure that was a stamp" SHUT IT DIXON!

Anyone with half a brain can see thats a stamp, its assault. If I did that to someone in the street i'd get screwed.

It looks like it is going to be looked into by the FA and it should be a 4 match ban.

That Lescott elbow in the face should also be a ban too.

I can't understand the "balance" argument in his defence.

I challenge anyone to spin in either direction and try and put their leading foot in that spin behind them with that force and then tell me that it was a natural, instinctive movement to regain balance. If you're spinning your leading foot only wants to go forwards, not backwards, and certainly not that far backwards and with that level of force.

Imagine if he'd managed to connect sweetly just a few inches from where he did, Scott Parker could be laying in hospital with a broken neck (either in a bed paralysed or worse on a morgue slab)

He should get a long ban for that, and I mean long.

And I agree that Lescott should get a 3-4 match ban for that forearm smash too, again there's no reason for his arm to move that way except with violent intent...

Dermot Gallagher on SSN talking about them - says neither should face further charges because it's very difficult to prove intent. Seriously?

Both players made unnatural movements to hurt the opposition players. I haven't heard a single argument in either incident that holds water why either player needed to make those movements other than with violent intent.

There is no doubt that Balotelli's stamp was intended as a stamp, absolutely no doubt!

The Lescott one looks nasty but I'd possibly say he put his arm up to protect himself from Kaboul running straight into him. Although I need to see it again in real time to see how fast Kaboul was coming at Lescott. (Sorry if that sounds a bit rude, you definately would put your arm out to block Kaboul cumming on you.)

If you study it, Balotelli's got his back to Parker & Modric, and i can only think that Balotelli thought that his initial contact ( with Parker's head ) was a challenge from someone, ( he obviously couldn't see, unless his got eye's in the back of his head ! ) that's what i think caused his next reaction, i.e. to stamp.
Balotelli is a talented footballer, unfortunately he's a bit of a nutcase too. Until he can sort out that side of his mentality, then his bad reputation is always going to cloud his talent.

It's the inconsistency that's annoying. Henry (rightly) gets sent off, Balotelli doesn't.

Why Balotelli is currently the most entertaining player in the Premier League:

£10,000 in parking fines.
Car has been impounded 27 times.
£300,000 fine for throwing darts at the youth team (Inspired by Ashley who preferred to use an air rifle no doubt!).
Won £25,000 in a casino, gave £2,000 to a tramp outside the casino.
Threw tomatoes at a Serie A manager.
Threw Water Balloons at a Serie A disciplinary hearing.
Started a fight with 4 bouncers after breaking the "no touching" rule at a strip club.
The "bib" saga.
Had a £120,000 Audi imported, wrote it off within a week.
Had his friend approach girls in a nightclub and say "Balotelli will see you now"
Sent to the shops by his mother to buy essentials for the house, came back with a giant trampoline and a Vespa and a Scalectrix
Has started fights at training with Kompany, Boateng, Tevez and Richards.
Was frequently seen at the AC Milan superstore while playing for Inter Milan.
Went on TV wearing an AC Milan shirt with his name on the back while playing for Inter.
Whilst playing for Italy under 21s, he is fouled, he sits on the pitch for 3-4 minutes ignoring the opposition, his team mates and the ref
He is then offended when he gets sent off and protests about it.
Winks at Ferdinand after FA cup semi final and celebrates in front of the United fans.
After the cup final on live TV, he says " I have been sh*t this season, am I allowed say sh*t on TV?
Was stopped by police going around his hometown of Hulme with £ 25,000 cash in the passenger seat. When asked why he replied because Im rich"
Had to be physically hauled away by Zanetti for refusing to let Samuel Etoo take a penalty that he had earned.
Once broke up with a girlfriend via text whilst she was presenting a live show.
Slept with an Italian model while his girlfriend was downstairs.
Drove his car into a womens prison because he wanted to "look around"
Has connections with the Italian mafia, he has testified in court at a Mafia trial.
Brought his Ipad on to the bench for Italys international against the Faroe Islands because he wanted to play games on it.
Became the face of a firework safety campaign a few days after setting his house on fire from letting off fireworks indoors.
Hands £50 notes to strangers when out shopping in Manchester.
Chanted "Rooney, Rooney" at the prostitute who claimed to have slept with Wayne Rooney.
Italy had just brought out a brand new home kit, at the start of the second half for their first match wearing the new kit,
Balotelli came out in the old kit, claiming he didnt like the new one. Nobody else had changed.
Turned the landscaped back garden of his house into a Quad bike track.
Stamped on Scott 'Spurs' Parkers grill for no reason.

Entertaining is not the word. Lionel Messi is entertaining. Balotelli is laughable. I could understand City putting up with him if he was worth it but to be honest he is not even one of the top 5 strikers in the league. City have the world to pick from and they pick from the sewer. Sums things up quite well really.

I'll need to watch it again, I saw it once last night (late, granted) but I honestly thought he was trying to "ground" his foot to retain balance.

You would think that he should be putting his right foot down in front of him, but as Lee Dixon said it was less clear-cut than Lescott's fore-arm.........

the point being it is in the rules to stamp on players just as it is in the rules to appeal the length of a ban to UEFA?

Wasn't aware - when did the rules change

Perhaps if you compared to Rooney's elbow on Macarthy you'd look less stupid

The Henry one was nothing like the other two. Stupid and unnecessary yes but it wasn't a stamp or even particularly dangerous.
