How will this work when he is re-classed as a Midfielder? Will I have to take a Midfeilder out and put a defender in?

I expect you will get an additional transfer.

At the start I had Wellbeck while he was still at Utd. Once he moved on loan they put a red cross over him and gave me an additional transfer (again shown in red) so I could ditch him.

Then they just moved him to Sunderland and removed the additional transfer. It was odd but points towards what exists in their program.

Crookface - I think you will find that Bale is already classified as a Midfielder (The change from a DF to MF player tookpalce sometime late December) but in the player listings Bale is down as a defender. You may want to check this yourself as I am at works and FF game websites are blocked.

The same think happened with kompany earlier in the sesason, when Metro re-classified him from a MF to a DF. You can though still only pick Kompany as a Midfield player, even though he scores points as a Defender. I found this scenerio when I could not find Kompany listed in the Defender player lists when I wanted to bring himn into a Team, even though he appears in the Stats columns as a defender.

Confusing

They are scoring points that way but Metro have said that they will officially change their listing as of the end of Jan

This is the reply I got from Metro Fantasy

"Bale was originally classified as a defender by OPTA, and so was added to the game as such. However, Spurs are playing him in midfield and so have re-classified him as a midfielder. However, he will continue to be listed as a defender in the player list, because we cannot move players around in the game – but he will score points as a midfielder. The stats page is supplied by OPTA, hence the reason why he is listed as a midfielder."

Cheers, Yes i heard them say from Feb they would move him to Midfield on the lists...


Now do we know who else is out of position? not that I might not pick him if i knew but i have lost some points..

Or does everyone get the defending points!! Only difference is Goal Points!!
