Hi

It's not very often I do this, but i was wondering if anyone had a view on the following...

I'd like to get Ba back in from next week onwards, as i took a while last time and suffered hugely for it. Trouble is, i'm not sure of the best way of wedging him back in.

Here's a screenshot of the team:

Currently bench Keane + 2 defenders based on fixtures, but i know that Keane will be off soon and so i would just need a random 5m striker to warm his spot.

The only options i can really see here are:

Aguero/RVP > Ba (gives me literally too much money to play with - i'm not sure what i can actually do with £4m+ that's worth doing, and Aguero's fixtures are lovely for the next few weeks (and RVP top striker by some way, and still scoring well)). I suppose it could be argued that Aguero isn't doing the business, but i'm reluctant to get rid just because of those fixtures.

or

Sess > McClean; Keane > Ba (McClean would warm the bench every game, and this would mean a switch back to 3-4-3 which is fine, but will Ba outscore Sess with sunderland's current form...?)

So i guess it comes down to sess vs Ba unless I can find another more beneficial option than those above.

Any comments or opinions welcome... is it even worth doing? :?

Many thanks for reading!

Without looking at your options, I went for Sess to McClean and Keane to Ba, so that's certainly my suggestion. I'm not sure it costs you to wait a little while to see what sort of form Ba is in, though - he could be really unsettled by the distraction and we don't know whether the other Demba will take some of the goals off him.

I think you might be right. I dont like not having Ba in, but i guess the game has changed a little in terms of Newcastle's forward line.

Still makes me nervous not having him, but i think i might wait on it like you suggest.

I'm intending to wait until GW26 after the Spurs away game as it gives you the Vila home and Spurs away games to assess his form.

Seen the villa game, seen him go up .2 before it even kicked off, and seen him due a 3rd rise tonight.

Price forced my hand, so I've sacrificed sessegnon for him tonight. Any more price rises and I'd have been short.

Best laid plans...
