Initially i am going for a 5/1 split

Woods
Singh
Rose
Austin
Mahan

Dyson

I plan on dropping Immelman for Casey. However if i do that i don't know who to drop.
austin and mahan are the cheapies but i cannot justify leaving them out as they have scored 100points between them in 3 weeks

Maybe i will hang fire for a week on the transfers.
However if the rumours about Singh means he pulls out.......

Make sure you have a 7th player available for Singh and notify Mr Green to replace him if he withdraws shortly before start. That way you can have 6 playing

Good luck

I think Singh is going to be OK - see injury thread. I see that Dredge is being nicely tipped... he will probably take a 10 shot lead into the last day and lose it by 5, though! Tempted all the same!

Tee times now published: Vijay's is 1pm (6pm BST?) at the AT&T tournament.

If injury forces a last-minute withdrawal then, as spireite suggests, it'll be too late to slot in anyone from the European Open into the OFL team. There are, however, 24 golfers due to tee off after Vijay's group in the US event:

  Not anti-Welsh at all - you are (mostly) lovely people. In fact, we met a foursome on holiday recently, all Welsh, and they turned what was already a great holiday into something pretty special. You meet a lot of Welsh people when abroad for some reason - never anything other than great company :)

Anyway... Mr Dredge. His was just a name that kept cropping up on the leaderboards a few years ago before I even knew of fantasy golf. Coupled with keeping a closer eye on the players you have in your team - I think he woefully under-achieves, and I actually can't ever seeing him going on to great things... Welsh or not!

But I am sure there are dozens of others along similar lines... Andres Romero for one :x

Good week for those with Dredge & Dyson ........oops - that will include me then

Thought when Casey & Verplank pulled out I would need to make a good call to replace them.I did.

Sadly - I didn't make that call - CURTIS & FRASER. Curtis never in the hunt and Fraser finished double, double single to miss by 2.

Same team has Dredge. Nice!
Woods / Jacquelin / Pampling need to finish top 3. Basically NOT going to happen.

I have 3 teams so it means that the no hopers that I added 4 weeks in have now caught the other 2.
Furyk
harrington
Ogilvy
Rose
Green
Taylor

GOing to be 6 cuts and nothing else!

77 for me this week, spireite, so still 3 behind you if you scored 62 :x .

Happy though, as anything over 50 in a single pointer week will see you going up in the overall standings :)

56 i counted the cut points of my 3 guys in the points twice. I hate it when i do that.

I have dropped from 10th to 12th overall but none of the top 4 scored more than 30 so it was a good week interms of catching up those above me. In fact the top 5 or 6 didnt do so good. But the 6th down to 15th did very well.

I plan on one transfer this week. waiting for withdrawels so i am not making it yet

with no changes my team is

Scottish open:

Trevor Immelman
Simon Dyson
Peter Lawrie/ Marcus Fraser

US EVENT:

Zach johnson
Woody Austin
Camillo Villegas

the change will prob be for the Scottish event

just the one guy out of the top 6 had a good week. The open will change everything. Majors so difficult to call. Which other top guy apart from woods do you go with

i always think that a single pointer when woods plays anything over 40 points does you no harm. when he doesnt play anything over 30 points.

and 50 is the benchmark for going up.
