Every day, as soon as I log on to my computer at work, I visit this web site. If it is a good image, I set it as my desktop background for the day. I just love this site. It makes me feel one with the universe. Use the back buttons below the image to see yesterday's picture, etc.

I think his idea of relaxing is very different from most on this forum. But to be fair, so is mine, I'm just a little more refined about my views

Just because you don't like something someone else does, why do you have to come and shit on it? The only thing that seems to be hard about you is the dark matter between your ears.

It seemed that every other one appealed to me.

Was my favourite. Tranquility I could almost fall into. Would probably use it as my wallpaper/screensaver, but being a technophobe..............

Thanks for the tip.

Just right click (with mouse) on the pic, and chose the "set as desktop" option.

Fair enough, I was perhaps a little harsh earlier in my criticism of this thread, but come on, "tranquility I could almost fall into"?

Patter like that deserves a bit of stick.

Try set as background.

Failing that click save picture as, and once its on your pc you can set it as your wallpaper easily.

Some amazing pics.

Just goes to show how insignificant we all are. Are we alone ? Looking at all those stars out there then we surely can't be.

Great site, will definetly be looking to see what the daily pic is and 'trying' to understand the info. written underneath it

Incredible pictures. Makes me feel infinitely tiny and at the same time infinitely large - because we're part of all that.

It's imposssible to feel infinitely tiny. Infinitely large I'll give you, but not infinitely tiny.

Why am I even commenting on this thread? Is it because tranquility I could almost fall into?

I think I have you sussed, HB. The reason you keep coming back to this thread is because you are a closet nerd. Come on out, guy. You don't need to keep pretending that you are "right 'ard" and not into that poofta Astronomy rubbish. Let it all out, show us the real you. We won't laugh.
