Was in the local Asda last night and noticed that they were doing any two of the top 20 paperbacks for £7. Seems like a good deal.

How much are they individually? They used to be under £4 and I hope they haven't copied Tesco who have changed from being under £4 each to 'buy one get one free' which is a similar price IF YOU BUY TWO and then only if they aren't £8.99 etc as many are. Useless if you only want one.

Generally makes Amazon the cheapest as they are usually around £3.99 each (free P&P)

I bought Jeffery Deaver - Roadside Crosses (£7.99) & Stieg Larsson - The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest (£7.99) so it seems like good value.

Its fine if you are buying 2 but they used to be around £3.70 each.

I'm halfway through the second Larsson book. Excellent stuff bar there being dozens of characters always referred to by their similar sounding Swedish surnames! At least in the first book they were all Vagners so their first names were used

thought the second book was much better than the first (which I didn't like that much, but obviously liked enough to read the second one).

Will have to read the third one now though
