I'm looking to go with a defender from each of the big 4 in my team. I've got Carragher, Ferdinand and Carvalho. I also have Reina right now, but I had an idea. I need some money to do some transfers over the next couple of weeks, and I want an Arsenal defender. Alumnia (or however you spell it) is like 5.1 right now. Plus he has a double gameweek coming up. Why don't more people have him? Surely that is great value for money. Is there some uncertainty that he will keep his spot?

That's exactly it. He got his place as Lehmann was injured, and he isn't really in the same class as Lehmann used to be so there is a doubt.

The German had been making mistakes regularly though, and keeps shooting his mouth off to the press which hasn't helped him get his place back.

I've heard suggestions that Lehmann will be on his way in January (possibly to Man City), but presently it would be very hard for Wenger to stick by Almunia IF he starts making high-profile errors.

Because James hasn't scored below 5 in his last 6 games.

Fair enough. I'm still considering it though. In the long term, it could work out very well. At worst if Lehmann comes back, they are both about the same price, so I could do a straight swap. Or even a straight swap to James.

Almunia gets the gig vs Man Utd. Interesting. Unless he has a terrible game, I'm gonna bring him in!
