Pretty standard, I know, but can you think of any transfers to better the WC?

Krul / Mig
Taiwo Kompany Simpson Caulker BAE
Sess Walters Bale Silva Valencia
RVP Ba Aguero

Bank: Naff all.

- I decided to bring in Mig for Vorm, as Caulker is at least a cheap Swansea defence for the odd home game.
- Taiwo is obviously a punt, but 3 home games in their next 4 including Wolves & Fulham. CS is realistic. Evans is always an option to replace him from GW28
- BAE, I’m currently sticking with. Spurs have Newcastle at home in GW25 and there’s no signs he’ll drop in price to justify paying .3 more to get him back.
- I did Sturridge > Ba. It may backfire, but I think Sturridge has had enough chances.
- Aguero, I feel for the next 4 GWs is a good pick.
- Walters will probs come out after their decent run of home games.

i dont like the look of spurs' fixtures, and if they cant keep a cleanie vs wigan then what chance have they got vs newcastle? also you're gonna have a conflicting interest when they play each other as i take it you are going to play ba? dont have a clue who you would take him out for though

other than walters its pretty sexy.

Cheers for the feedback.

The plan with Walters is to play him in their home games vs Sund, Swansea and Norwich and then ship him out. His home form is pretty good and I only paid 6.1 for him.

The thinking with BAE is that from GW29, he's a decent pick until the season end:
STOKE Chelsea SWANSEA Sunderland NORWICH Bolton qpr ROVERS Villa FULHAM

If I sell now and bring him back in, I'll be paying, as things stand, an extra 0.3 to get him back in. I guess one option is to switch him and just hope I have the funds to justify getting him back. ShawX perhaps? I'd be 0.1 short of Huth.

06 Feb Gameweek 24 Liverpool (A)
11 Feb Gameweek 25 Newcastle (H)
26 Feb Gameweek 26 Arsenal (A)
04 Mar Gameweek 27 Man Utd (H)
10 Mar Gameweek 28 Everton (A)

but until then barring anything out of the extraordinary you're looking at a run of 2 pointers and a price drop. i think im gonna drop him for taiwo this week.

Yeah, don't worry I've studied the fixtures until I'm blue in the face. I'm like a nerd when it comes to remembering who plays who and what runs they have, haha.

I think he's going to rise again before the weekend, so if I do ship him out, it'll be nearer Saturday morning so can bank another 0.1 from him.

It's just a question of who to bring in, in his place.

I don't really get the drawback on having a conflict of interest in an FPL team... so they play against each other, so be it. That shouldn't be a reason to consider in my book. I also thought about getting rid of Walker during my WC and right after but I am sticking with the lad. Playing in an attacking team could reap benefits, even against these so-called bigger opponents who like to play themselves and therefore could provide more space for a BAE or Walker to run into (Walker scored against Arsenal this season so why not again).

I'm thinking of changing BAE and Taiwo out for Huth and Kelly.

What do you think?
