need some help finding how much something is worth that was given to us... Its called a 'Lubcrication and Friction Machine' by R.M Deeley

The only other one I can find on the whole web is one at Harvard University http://dssmhi1.fas.harvard.edu/emuseumd ... ntrecord=2

So I'm struggling to find a value for it.

Im also wondering if anyone knows of any machinery mueseums that may be interesting in something like this?

Not free, but if you can get a valuation for €4.59 it must Shirley be worth it.

FS Record: Lousy. Not even won a house. Funnier than el_pappje. FPL Formula 1 Champion 2011. Claim to Lame winner 2011.
Find your local antique auction and take it there. They will value it for free for you. Will be interested to hear what they say.

My estimate £20-£40, if yours has that makers stamp on it £30-£50.

True, thats possible..

I was hoping if I posted the link of the auction to museums etc they might be interested in the item and bid via ebay

Cant think of any other cost effective ways of doing it to be honest. It might be worth quite a bit as the inventor was quite important in the development of railways and the only other item I can find is in the Havard museum It could be quite sought after from museum types.

On the other hand it would be worth £5 - £50 and wouldnt be worth doing anything else with it. Im awaiting a reply from an online valuation so ill see what they suggest first.
