with Beattie on his way out of everton and cahill injured at the moe will anichebe get a chance at the start of the season? he looked good when he played last year, at 6 mil could be a bargin for the first 5 gws or so

I would say he's one to keep an eye on, but at the moment there are alternatives for the same money or less who more certain of starting...

Don't forget McFadden could start alonside AJ as a centre forward just behind him, and I remember he is priced at a similar amount? I don't really know, but the scottish forward is another player you should consider who could appear a block against your anticipation for Anichebe. :?

For some obscure reason, Moyes hasn't ever seemed to particularly rate McFadden, he's been a sub more often than not.

Anichebe is a far shout and has played in pre-season even with Cahill and instead of Beattie. Having said that at 6.0 million there are better alternatives (I'd say as an Evertonian)
