Hi FISOites

Just looking for some recommendations about good cardio workout DVDs. I've just been given a very high intensity exercise program DVD set, but it's aimed at people who are starting from a much better fitness level than me. One of the DVDs in it is a fat burning cardio workout and I've given it a try and can nearly get to the end of the 50 minutes before I turn into a messy pool of whimpering fat blob in the corner, but I'd like to look into getting 3-4 more good workout DVDs so that I can keep things varied and interesting doing a workout every other day.

The plan is to do the gentler ones for a month or two, then switch up and introduce the more intensive program bit by bit until I can follow that the way it's designed to be done.

So looking for ideally 5 names of good quality exercise DVDs, preferably with some sort of recommendation from personal experience. I just don't really know exactly what to be looking FOR in these things, and so many C-Z list celebrities release them when they get a bit short on cash that the marketplace is all cluttered and confusing.

Thanks in advance for any tips

Have a google for 30 day shred. Very intense (according to the mrs) and does have good reviews.

Most of them seem to be geared towards women, however if you're looking for low impact stuff to start with you could do worse than try Yoga or Pilates.

Thanks for the tip Richt

Yeah I'm seeing the female bias, but not enough money to afford a gym membership and can't jump straight to the high intensity stuff means I may have to use one of them for now. 6'6" and pushing 20 stone means I've got a bit of a belly to get rid of and I've also got an hour free each morning before work so figure this (plus trying to not give in to the twin demons of doughnuts and take-aways so often) is as good a place as any to start for now. If I can get down to a reasonably fit 17 stone with a flat-ish belly by the end of the year I'll be happy enough.
