Just realized Adebayor is on loan from Man City. Will he be unavailable for GW 22?

Yes, he won't be able to play against his parent club, as most clubs nowadays insert such a clause in the loan deal to preserve their interests.

I sold him for this reason, Wolves are resiliant now and he's unavailable for City, may aswell get rid now if you're on a WC rather then waste a move down the road.

It's actually a Premier League rule nowadays I think.

I'm getting rid with my WC next week. Not unhappy with him as he's been a great buy, but the extra money i save by having Sturridge instead is the difference between a moses or a Sessegnon for my 5th midfielder.

Going Sturridge- RVP-Aguero up top instead i think.

Agreed. Players on loan are not permitted to play against the team which holds their registration - section 7.2 of rule M.6.

Adebayor is a very streaky player, can score for a few games then go double that without, at least with sturridge he's a lot easier to take as he's not that expensive.

Am I the only one who thinks Adebayor is actually a bit of a donkey?

Yes he is. But he's a goal-scoring donkey, which is all that matters to me.

It depends on how you define streaky.

Twice this year, he has gone two games in a row with only two points, but other than that, he has scored more than his minimum in every other game but one (12 times in 17 starts). This makes him one of the most consistent fantasy scorers in the league (but could be seen as streaky compared to some others).

The most consistent, Ba, has also had 5 "twos", but hasn't had two weeks in a row where he's scored his minimum, and that includes his two sub apperances in weeks 3 & 4 (someone should paint a big ole stinkin' S on his chest).

The same would apply to Aguero (if you ignore his sub role against Sunderland) and Silva (if you count his two recent 3 point apperances as more than minimum).

Van P, btw, has 8 minimum point appearances, but he also has 8 appearances in double digit scores, 3 more than any of the others mentioned above.

His goals come on patches.

But FPL wise he is as consistent as anybody.

His hold up play is very good, and I see value in him (as a neutral who enjoys watching Spurs) aside from scoring... I think his reputation is a bit unfair as I think he puts in a good shift in the manner that English football tradition expects & demands... He's a handful to defenders, thats for sure...
