Enter now, using template at the foot of this post.last year's thread:
accenture-world-match-play-fiso-game-t71008.htmlI will run this exactly the same as last year.
Basically the rules are these:
There are 64 players, playing straight knock-out format.
From each group of 4 (16 groups) you will select one golfer to win his first and second round matches. You get 3 points if your player wins both matches, and one point if he wins one game. The first two rounds are played Wednesday and Thursday. From Friday there will be 16 players left and the second stage of predictions can be made. This is the last time you will pick, the Quarter Finals are on Saturday and Semi-Finals and Final are both played on Sunday.
On Friday you once again have to choose one player from the four groups of four. Hopefully your selected player will win his Last 16 and Quarter-Final match.
Points will be the same as per the early round,
3 points for making the Semi-Final, one for making the Quarter-Final.
When making your final predictions you must also mark down where you expect your four players to finish (1, 2, 3, 4).
If your two predicted golfers (1 & 2) to make the final do so, you'll get an extra 5 points per golfer.
You get an extra 5 points per golfer if any of the four selected golfers actually finish in the positions you've indicated.Last year it was alive right to the end, with a very worthy winner
Deadlines will be Wednesday 3pm and Friday 6pm, unless they alter the timings from last year.
**New Rule for this year - each entry must state one golfer to gain the most wins in the tournament. These choices must be unique. ie. once Tiger Woods is selected you can't choose him again.
Every player will gain one point per win that your chosen player gets. The draw is below, Westwood plays Stenson, and the winner plays Watney or Kim etc. Westwood and Kaymer can only play each other in the final or 3rd place match.
