Is anyone else scratching their heads wondering how they have scored so few points this week? This has to be the most disappointing gameweek since I started playing 6 seasons ago. So many favourable fixtures for the majority of my players but only Ba has delivered.

Here is a breakdown of my home players performance compared with how they have been performing at home this season:

___________PPG GW Score
Vorm________7_____3
Evans_______2.3____0
Vermaelen___11.75___1
Enrique______3.5____2
Sinclair______6.4____ 2
Walters_____6.5_____3
Van Persie___7.5_____2

Total_______45_____13

Not to mention Baines sitting first on my bench with a possible 11 pts!

I dispair of this game!

Isn't there someone you can email and get this sorted out?

Saved by my Tottenham trio of, Bale, Adebayor and Assou Ekottu (thank god). Was a dire score prior to that.....

Ended with 41 pre bonus so not great. Still, beat my nearest rival a point and have beaten my first round fantasy cup.

I can understand why you benched Baines but i refuse to bench him because there's always the chance of a pen. I even played him away to Arsenal.

Benching him did feel uncomfortable but the players i picked ahead of him all had promising home games. Sods law that everton get their first pen in ages when he is on my bench. I have too many players and somebody has to be benched, richards was also relegated to the bench as man city dont get many clean sheets away from home. I certainly wont be benching baines again!

I see walters and sinclair let you down too. At least i have bale although its difficult to get excited about his haul as he has such a high ownership.

my week is equally abysmal as yours, if not worse. A pathetic 34 with 30 (!!!) points sitting on the bench.

Why, in the name of Zeus' butthole, would you leave Bale on your bench?!

Since you are in the "Don't cry when you lose" League, just gotta take it on the chin...

In fairness i can kind of see why he did. Similar situation to me with baines. Somebody had to be benched and bale arguably had the least favourable fixture whilst the others had strong fixtures.

The cheap pen takers (sinclair, walters, larsson) all had home games against average sides, bale was playing away and I hadn't been too impressed by his last 2 matches. It was a toss up between him and ade.

On top of that I did Ba>Sturridge as my transfer so I lost out on another 7 points there.

And yeah, the name of the league says it all.

Honestly? Bale against an attacking team who would leave space for him? You could say "that's obvious captain hindsight" but to bench Bale in favor of e.g. Larsson and/or Sinclair (who has done like almost nothing in like 600 minutes of playing futbol) is utter madness and one's own mistake ;)

Similarly bad week for me with Baines and Raylor languishing on my bench. Managed to sneak thru the cup by 2 points against an inactive team so that's something I suppose

I had Baines and R. Taylor but none of my mids or strikers scored more than 2 points.

A howler for me too:

Vorm - 3
Caulker - 3
Evans - 0
Enrique - 2
Walters - 3
Nani - 3
VDV - 3
Silva - 3
Ba - 9
RVP (c) - 4
Ade - 5

Pretty awful considering fixtures/players available.

I did the R.Taylor  Evans transfer and left Simpson on the bench this week so lost out on a fair few points although managed to scrape 55 with the bonus so got off lightly enough. Of all the managers I've seen this weekend bemoaning their points tally yours does seem the most self inflicted. Of your midfield, I would have benched any one of them ahead of Bale except Silva whether they were penalty takers or not. Why would you have a 9m player on the bench .. it makes no sense especially as all his goals have come against lesser opposition and he has a significant number of double figure hauls.

Ba  Sturridge is also a strange one given Ba's record this season and the way bonus points are awarded. I've considered Sturridge myself for number of weeks but wouldn't swap him for Ba at this stage. I may swap Ade for Sturridge later in January but not before the DGW.

Your team is in the top 10K so clearly you’re no mug and I can see the sense in leaving Assou and Simpson on the bench given the other defenders you had available however, I would rarely leave my first choice on the bench which includes RVP, Nani and Evans this coming GW even though there is a chance that they may be rested or are still injured. Unless there is a damn good reason put all your top players on the pitch and let the subs be subs.

I had a real shocker...played my wild card - out went R Taylor,Ba & Bale....in went Rooney,Suarez & Nani.

Talk about the transfers of death.. :x

So thats 6 points earned when i couldve had 35 pts !!!

To cap it off i had 2 clean sheets on the bench..

one of the rare weeks when my faith in RVP as captain didn't pay dividends.
Since he went the full 97 minutes, i'm dubious whether he'll start against QPR now.

I kept Ba for 1 more week thank goodness, but he's gone now. Only 2 games left before the ANC really, and they're liverpool and Man U.

I lost ground on everyone but the leader in the top half of my work league, but it could have been a lot worse. TFF Bale ;)

It gets worse. I obviously checked it pre-boni and I actually lost by 4 points when Ba came on as 3rd sub for my inactive opponent
