In my top team, I've got only 2 strikers, Bale being my Mid/Str.

I want to bring in a third striker at the next TW, but don't want to get rid of Bale.

Is there any way round this apart from wasting a transfer by taking Bale out and bringing him back in at the expense of another midfielder. What I'm trying to say is can I do this ;

Take out Bale for a striker

Bring in Bale for Dempsey

Change a defender

Change a keeper

Would this count as four transfers even though I've only actually changed 3 players ?

Surely,as the Bear said on your other thread about this,if you keep Bale there's no way that temporarily removing him will cost you a transfer.

If you're effectively replacing Dempsey for a striker,once you take him out Bale will automatically become one of your M/F's

I think Dempsey will out score bale

it doesnt take up a transfer until you confirm the changes, so you can swap Bale for a striker then dempsey for bale and it'll only take up the 1 transfer.
