Love this game and can't wait for round 2.

Maybe if we could get 6 teams.

Could then have bidding as:

3 players each  Game 1

6 players each  Games 2

8 players each  Games 3

11 players each  Games 4 & 5

I think limiting it to won round a day would be good too.

1 round of bidding or 1 match.

More suspence that way (suspence really doesnt look as if it's spelt right! #massivememoryblock)

The next game will definitely be slower!

What does everyone think about playing both games at the same time? So cut from one game to another (in the style of a relegation battle on MotD)

At the same time is good, yes - and with names will be better.

Can you change INJ to 45+, or 90+ as I thought it was an injury at first.

Will do.

The other thing I could do with help on is the pre-matchday events. The only three I have at present are:

Internation call ups (all 3* MF are unavailable)

Training ground bust-up (home side's best two defenders won't play together

Chicken lasagne (3 random players from a random side are too ill to play)

Any other suggestions, to add a bit of variety?

A bit of a variation on a manager having a touchline ban?

Hmm, that could work :-)

And the away team could pick the formation.

Ideas for change so far:

1) Auto selection. No-one chose to play a player out of position. Having your best team automatically selected might make things quicker.

2) Home managers have 2 opportunities each season to play a 50/50 card. Half the time, this is will benefit the home team, other times it will benefit the away team.

3) For a six manager season, play games when all but one manager has 7 players, then 8, 9, 10, 11. The choice of formation becomes more important with a bigger squad.

4) More money is dished out when the first manager signs their 7th player. This would be 10% interest on current balance + £2m for each 5* signing so far + £1m for each 4* signing so far. This would enable different tactics to be used - save your money to get more interest, or spend big to pick up the increased season ticket sales.

Any thoughts?

The next season will probably start next week sometime.

1) Yep
2) No real appeal for me
3) I liked the games first played with 4 "good" players
4) Yes to more cash, obviously.

What about reversing the fixtures so we play teams first and last?

As long as we all get one away and one home game in each round................

(You can get a fixture list from X11)

Do you have a link for the fixture list? I did a quick google last night, but counldn't spot anything that would ensure one home and one away game for each round.

The reason for the 50/50 card was so that, if a manager was up against a much stronger team, he could play the card and maybe even things up a bit. Except it could all go horribly wrong! It would be the same as the pre-matchday cards we had last time, but the timing would be with the home manager rather than random, just to try and increase the tactical side of the game.

But with money being dished out after each set of games, and home teams having an advantage, that means some teams would have more money than others for the auction parts of the game.
