And they've both booked their next matches off this afternoon. Fortunately for most FFers it is the Carling Cup ties in each case so they'll be back for their next league games.

Not wanting to leave Kevin too far behind, Mark Davies Bol is now on 4 yellows, 2 have been hiding in the Carling Cup.

My email from the FA has returned this week and I can confirm that the above mentioned 3 players are all one yellow away from a ban. I've updated the page on my site and included championship players for anyone playing the Texaco game.

He's muddled his calculations up and picked up his 5th yellow today. This means he misses the game with Man United on Oct 24th. Had he waited a week then he'd only miss a Carling Cup tie. Ooops!

Warnock got his 5th caution at the weekend and, lo and behold, what a surprise, is now banned for a Carling Cup game.

So has Paul SCHOLES and he will also miss the weekend match

Looks like J Barton will stay on 4 yellows for another 3 matches

And becasue no-one has him, no-one worried when he got his 5th and served a ban.

I was going to add new players to this thread but a few seem to have been missed over the last few weeks, so as a one-off, here is the FA confirmed list from my site.

I'm sure I'm correct in saying that Tevez picked up his 4th yellow last weekend...could be of interest to a few TFF players as/when he picks up his 5th yellow?

My email arrived early this week so I've updated my page already. Note that Everton's Coleman has arrived on 4 yellows as have Boa Morte and Parker from West Ham and Figueroa from Wigan. And finally, Lee Catermole has finally accumulated 4 yellows. Why has it taken so long, some might ask? He was so keen early in the season that he kept picking up two in one game; neither of which then counted for accumulation.

And an early reminder that the amnesty kicks in on New Year's Day so reaching your 5th yellow in 2011 will not get you a ban. By then we might be seeing the first players teetering on 9 yellows.

I thought I'd removed that link - it hasn't worked for over a year. The FA pages are still there though, but no-one has been in to update them since Friday. Links under football information, or http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary ... Lists.aspx

Yep was looking for the actual bans as I wasn't paying a lot of attention over xmas. Shame the FA are still scoffing turkey.....
