Some people with very bad timing, who will all miss New Years Day after picking up their fifth YC:

Michel Salgado (Blackburn)
Robert Huth (Stoke)
Gonzalo Jara (West Brom)

Also, 3-match bans for RCs for:

Nikola Kalinic (Blackburn)
Younes Kaboul (Tottenham)
Gabriel Tamas (West Brom)

Pablo Zabaleta's red card overturned - http://www.espn.co.uk/espn/sport/story/ ... MP=OTC-RSS

Arsene says he won't be appealing Bacary Sagna's red from the same incident, so he gets a three-match ban - http://www.adifferentleague.co.uk/p6_1_ ... -vela.html

Been tied up this week and missed my email from the FA. I've just updated my page and yes, Charlie Adam has won the race to be the first to 9 cards.

He has eight in the TFF games

http://fantasyfootball.telegraph.co.uk/ ... /teams/CHE

And Chelsea only played one Carling Cup match

http://www.chelseafc.com/matchreport/20 ... 9014_54582

So if we can trust the TFF scores then then answer is 8

Although 8 is also on Chelsea web site

http://www.chelseafc.com/page/PlayerPro ... 08,00.html

He's not appeared on my weekly email from the FA yet, though 3 EPL players are now on 9 - Adam, Gohouri and Tiote. www.bramernic.com/fsports/bansoon.php

Just a reminder that for anyone who has 8 yellows they only have until the SECOND Sunday in April to avoid 10 yellows

So Man City and Liverpool players on 8 are safe as they play on Monday 11th

Is that not the same for those on 9 yellows? ie. Kevin Nolan.

He is saying the LFC/Citeh players on 8 are definitely safe as they only have 1 more counting game andcan only get to 9. Same for everyone on 7 I think. Everybody on however many will be safe after April 10th. Unless they get to 15......

He plays Saturday 2nd and Sunday the 10th

So he still could get 2 more yellows

No he can't

If he gets one on the 2nd he'll be banned on the 10th (and the 19th)

Latest email from the FA shows Blackburn and Wigan could face defensive issues as they fight relegation. Robinson has arrived on 9 yellows while Wigan have two defenders facing a two-match lay-off if they attract the refs attention in the next two matches. Full details of those preparing for an early Easter holiday are here.

Surely if there's a P Robinson on 9 yellows it's going to be Bolton's left-back, not Blackburn's keeper? Is there some confusion in the FA's report there?

So if I read this correctly Ivanovich will avoid a ban for his 10th Yellow today?
